bell museum
The new Bell Museum in St. Paul, Minnesota tells the story of the state’s natural history beyond the exhibits. The building anchors on three large expanses of glass that look into the surrounding landscape, fields and farms and is knit together with exhibits, classroom space, a planetarium and guest amenities. The interior and exterior materials - concrete, glass, weathered steel and white pine combine to create a rich textural experience utilizing Minnesota’s natural resources in different ways to show how they change over time.
