who we are

We are Jamey & Erin, certified interior designers committed to creating safe, functional, and beautiful spaces where people can live, work, eat, sleep, play, and explore well.

We are also great friends who met as randomly-assigned college roommates—what a lucky match!

When we are not working, we enjoy good coffee, food, and books. You will often find us outside as well: hiking, biking, on the water, or skiing and snowboarding during Minnesota winters. Beyond our Minneapolis bounds, we are enthusiastic travelers, taking in cities and places near and far.

Above all, we prize connection with others—gathering and building communities—especially when paired with design.

how we design

Our designs are collaborations rooted in the people that occupy them. We create by getting to know you, your priorities, and what you love.

Listen, connect, ideate, edit—repeat!

Healthy materials

Your space should be beautiful and healthy. While many products today look beautiful, the ingredients they are made with can be harmful for humans, animals, and the spaces we inhabit.

Let us clarify this gray area, helping you to make wise decisions without missing out on aesthetics. We get excited about understanding a product’s entire journey: where it comes from, how it is made, and the lasting impact it will have on your space once installed.

Environmentally conscious

Further, it is our shared responsibility to care for the earth, ensuring that our planet can be enjoyed and explored by generations to come.

We are intentional to think about impactful decisions like these while partnering with you:

  • Product lifecycles | “How soon will this need to be replaced?”

  • Timeless design | “How will this design age over time?”

  • Durability | “How will this wear with use?”

  • Recyclability | “How can these materials eventually be repurposed?”

  • Natural & rapidly-renewable sourcing | “How are its ingredients acquired?”

  • Corporate responsibility | “How is this manufacturer considering their impact on the planet?”

Community oriented

At the core of our work, we want to see neighborhoods and communities thrive. As a women-owned small business, we seek out products and services that are:

  • Local

  • Ethically made

  • Fair Trade Certified

  • Women owned

  • BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) owned

  • Certified B (Benefit) Corporations

  • Vintage or secondhand

  • Socially responsible
